First post, here we go!

I am not sure where this is going to go, or even if anyone will ever read it, but I am going to do it anyway… maybe it will be a stress reliever.

I am a SAHUM (stay at home unschooling mom) of 3 kids under the age of 5 and a 1/2.  Not only do I mother, clean (just kidding on this one), teach un-preschool and un-kindergarten, facilitate a bible study, make lunches for the homeless (ok that’s just once a month), lead AWANA, set up outreach projects, lead visitation, and now blog.  I am also on a mission looking for ways to make some cash to get rid of some debt!  Oh, I know, we are the only family who has that…  Unlike everyone else, we did not have anyone teach us about money growing up, how it all works and when you make money (like I did in corporate America for 10 years) save some of it.  So we screwed up big time and now I have to be creative in ways of making money to get rid of our past sins.  Getting a job is not an option, because of the above mentioned reasons and I don’t have time for one of those.  But I have been led in finding many areas of making money that I thought I might be worthy information for the very few people who are in our same situation.  In the time I blog, which may be very short, (depends on if anyone other than my mother will read it) I will try and share ideas I have come up with on this subject in particular.  I am sure I will talk on other stuff too, but I feel there is a need for this right now.  Here I go… (hope it will be “we” soon).

About Andria Dowie Truth & Wellness

I didn’t always approach health this way. Over the years, through personal experiences, loss, and navigating my own health challenges, I realized how important it is to ask better questions and take a more active role in understanding what’s really going on in the body. That journey led me to study, research, and explore approaches that focus on supporting the body—not just managing symptoms. Today, I help families become more informed and confident in their wellness decisions. I believe you are capable of leading your health when you’re equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and guidance. Through real, nourishing food—including quality animal protein—intentional plant support, and practical wellness strategies, I teach simple, sustainable ways to build strength, clarity, and consistency in everyday life. This space is not about perfection or fear—it’s about empowerment. It’s about learning how to think, ask better questions, and make decisions that support your body and your home long-term.

More than one reader! 😉 Kathy Balman shared your link on Twitter and it caught my eye! We are in the same huge mess, trying to figure a way out of it. It’s horrible! Did I mention it’s horrible? ugh! My husband has been self-employed mostly for the last I don’t even know how many years but he worked for a company for a couple of years and gradually made more and more money. Not a ton but a lot compared to our previous standards. Anyway, that job turned into something that we didn’t feel like he should stay and be a part of so we discussed it and he quit and went back to his own stuff full time. Well, it’s been HARD! The economy isn’t so great, we have more bills than we had before he started that job, and we fell behind. So, I’m here hoping you can share some tips that I can use to help pull ourselves out of the pit! 🙂

    • Whew, no pressure on me or anything, lol….
Thank you for reading, Donetta… I am not an expert by any means, (this is my 1st entrance into the blogging world) but I have a few ideas that may help, and that is what I was hoping this will do. So stay tuned! and please comment!

Haha! No pressure!! Honestly, I think a lot of times stuff like this is really just common sense and/or a different way of looking at it. A new perspective can make a world of difference! So, I look forward to reading what you have to say. 🙂
